As a Manager in our Solutions Engineering team, you will play a critical role in assisting the Sales department to develop and win new business, and you will work with other inter-departmental groups to improve the tools and content that create faster sales cycles, happier customers, better products, a more informed and capable internal workforce, and an enabled external partner community.  You will be responsible for team development, delivery of RFPs, RFIs and POCs, and accountable for enabling our team to make our customers successful.  This role reports up to the Global Lead of Customer Deployment. 

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Works to deploy our newest technology, interfacing with marketing, sales, customer success and risk services to create the necessary processes and go-to-market material
  • Develop and deliver training and educational assistance to new employees, new partners and new customers
  • Conduct technical discussions on integration, APIs, eCommerce plugins and extensions
  • Respond to RFPs and Security Questionnaires
  • Document customer expectations and orderflows, so everyone knows what’s going to happen after that customer signs.  In this capacity you will be a player and a coach
  • Conduct research and solve problems surrounding new solutions and unique integration scenarios
  • Demonstrate Signifyd products and capabilities to partners and customers
  • Project manage pilot activities
  • Understands the market complexities that comes with legislation requirements such as PSD2
  • Analyze and report on metrics for ROI enablement
  • Work with sales leaders to ensure compensation plans are appropriate for your team and the organization
  • Meet company wide booking targets
  • Stewart the team through international expansion and market segmentation changes

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Background in eCommerce, financial/payment systems, and/or fraud mitigation
  • 2-4 years in previous Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering roles
  • 2-4 years managing teams across time zones, international team management preferred
  • Proven strengths and experience in customer-facing sales/pre-sales environments
  • Strong self-sufficient work ethic
  • Ability to examine complex situations, develop associated action plans and guide peers towards achieving key goals
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized (time tracking, juggling multiple tasks, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation skills (Keynote, Google Slides, MS PowerPoint, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, writing, editing, follow-through, follow-up, etc.)
  • Strong technology tool skills (Acrobat, MS Office, Google Suite, Vizio, LucidChart, Confluence, Salesforce.com, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills (coordinating, project management, resource management, delegation, follow-through, etc.)
  • Enjoy/Willingness to travel (30%)

  • Experience with JSON, Python, APIs, PHP and/or other web, programming, scripting tools
  • Multilingual ability preferred

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. 
*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
