Return Refund Eligibility Criteria

Capitalized terms used herein without a definition have the same meaning as the defined term in the Agreement. In order for Signifyd to issue a Refund Loss Credit for a Return Transaction, Subscriber must provide the following to

Signifyd:

  • Transaction records from the Subscriber's payment processing system.
  • Refund confirmation emails or notifications.
  • Screenshots of refund confirmations within the Subscriber's order management system.
Proof of Subscriber Attempt to Recover Refunded Amount Documented evidence, in a format specified by Signifyd, demonstrating that the Subscriber attempted to recover the Refund Amount from Subscriber’s End User using the same payment method as the Refund. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • Recovery records from the Subscriber's payment processing system.
  • Any communication with Subscriber’s End User or payment processor regarding the recovery attempt.
  • Where recovery is commercially impractical, Subscriber must attest in writing.
Photo Evidence Means clear and legible digital photographs or videos, in a format specified by Signifyd, that demonstrate:
  • For "wrong item returned" cases: the item received by the Subscriber is different from the item originally shipped.
  • For "missing item" cases: the package received by the Subscriber is missing the expected item.
Appropriate Disposition and Outcome Fields Means the specific values assigned to the disposition and outcome fields within Signifyd’s API, which accurately reflect the nature and result of the return event. These values will be detailed in Documentation and will include, but are not limited to:
  • Disposition: Values indicating the reason for the return (e.g., "wrong item," "missing item," "return never received").
  • Outcome: Values indicating the result of the return (e.g., "loss confirmed," "loss disputed," "reimbursement received").
