NRF’s Big Show means the new year is officially here

It’s late January, meaning retail professionals are returning to their offices filled with ambition, plans and budget requests inspired by the National Retail Federation’s Big Show. The annual cavalcade of commerce can be equal parts exhilarating and exhausting.

Nearly 800 exhibitors, 37,000 attendees. It’s a lot to take in and a lot to take home. We’ve selected a few dishes from the smorgasbord of content, best practices and future forecasting to present here. If you couldn’t make the show, use them to fill in the blanks. If you were there, consider it a trip down memory lane.
Fear kills the customer experience
When retailers focus on risk, they put up barriers that frustrate consumers. Signifyd’s Indy Guha told NRF attendees how to free themselves from fear to better serve customers.
